The World Cultures Expo (WCE) began in 2006 as TalkShop at Kimball's Carnival in Oakland, California. It was the key meeting point for the local community to network and share information that could possibly improve the quality of life not only in their own locale but also in other cities around the world.

Inspired by the same spirit and passion, the proposed 2014 World Cultures Expo will present its new offering, “Discover the World at Your Doorstep,” a well deserved contribution aimed at stimulating each individual attendee's mindset.

The WCE is a month long celebration of different cultures presenting a continuous flow of events simultaneously held in large and small venues in the month of August.

The Expo is a revenue growth driven platform affording global, national and
local participants of each category, opportunities to not only come together but notably become national and global celebrities, after which they will advance on to being unofficial cultural ambassadors of the United States of America.

The World Cultures Expo is a Hybrid coordinated mass model hinging on the possibility of it's August 2014 inception being proclaimed by President Barack Obama as World Cultures Month.
